About
Shurie Fletcher
Broker Associate at Compass. Fourteen years in Denver real estate, a developer's training, an investor's instincts, and a staging company to back it all up.

From the development side in
Most agents learn the business one transaction at a time. Shurie learned it by running the sales and operations of a residential, commercial and mixed-use developer for five years: pricing whole buildings, managing contracts and timelines, and watching what buyers actually responded to once the doors opened.
That experience is where her interest in real estate took hold, and it still shapes how she works. She reads construction and renovation realistically, she is comfortable with the mechanics of a complicated deal, and she treats marketing a home as a production with a plan rather than a listing to be uploaded.
An owner, not just an agent
Shurie and her husband Kevin, also a Broker Associate at Compass, own nine residential and commercial rental properties and have renovated and resold a long list of fix-and-flips. They believe in real estate as a way to build lasting wealth, and they have done it with their own money. For clients, that shows up as candor: which improvements will pay back and which will not, what a rental will really net, when to walk away.
In 2023 the two of them bought Colorado Premier Staging, a Denver home-staging company, with a simple premise: staging sells homes faster and often for more, so it should be accessible at every price point rather than reserved for the top of the market. Shurie's sellers get that work coordinated as part of the listing.
Fourteen years, every kind of home
Since joining Compass, Shurie has closed 123 transactions totaling $101.72M, with a career total above $165M+. The list runs from a $227,500 condo in Aurora to a $3.2M contemporary in Wellshire; from new-construction townhome rows in Englewood and Villa Park to 44 acres outside Evergreen. About half of her business is representing sellers, half buyers, and she has repeatedly represented both sides of the same deal when the fit was right.
Her core is Denver proper, with Park Hill, Cherry Creek, Capitol Hill, the Highlands and the southeast neighborhoods around her own home, and it extends to Englewood, Centennial, Parker, Golden and the foothills.
Off the clock
Shurie grew up a Buff, graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in International Affairs. She cooks, she spends as much time as she can in the mountains around Evergreen, and she and Kevin are raising two kids, Lula and Grayson, in Denver. Clients tend to hear about all three.

What clients say
Shurie is one of the most caring, knowledgeable and hard working professionals that we have ever worked with. She guided us through the entire home owner process from start to finish and provided us with all the tools to make the best decision possible. As first time home buyers, we placed all our trust in Shurie and really listened to her advice. After a few meetings, we really felt that she listened to our individual needs and helped us narrow down what qualities were most important to each of us. We had daily communication from her regarding possible homes that met our budget and criteria, and she worked with our schedule, which gave us several opportunities and options to choose from.
Shurie was a patient and engaging real estate agent. I will recommend her in the future to anyone looking to buy or sell.
