The south suburbs along the Platte
Englewood & Littleton
Two small-town main streets, two hospital campuses, light rail to downtown, and some of the best-value brick ranches and new townhomes in the metro.
Englewood sits directly south of Denver along the South Platte River. Its downtown has three distinct pieces: South Broadway, a walkable main street of restaurants, bars and shops; CityCenter Englewood, a 55-acre transit-oriented district built on the former Cinderella City mall site around the Englewood light-rail station; and the Wellness District anchored by Swedish Medical Center and Craig Hospital. The surrounding neighborhoods, Cushing Park among them, are grids of 1940s–60s brick ranches, increasingly joined by paired homes and townhomes.
Littleton, further south, is organized around a historic downtown on Main Street, with the Littleton Downtown light-rail stop, Hudson Gardens and the South Platte Park and Chatfield trail corridors. Its western and southern neighborhoods, Columbine Valley, Ken Caryl and the Foothills area, open onto the hogback and larger lots.
Shurie has sold eight homes in Englewood's Cushing Park neighborhood alone, most of them new-construction townhomes on South Acoma and South Cherokee Streets, and represented the buyers of a $1.7M home in Columbine Valley in 2025.
