Hampden, Four Square Mile & Virginia Village
Southeast Denver
Mid-century ranches on generous lots, the Cherry Creek and High Line Canal trails, and quick access to the Tech Center. Shurie's home turf.
Southeast Denver stretches from Cherry Creek south to Hampden Avenue between Colorado Boulevard and the Aurora line. Virginia Village and Virginia Vale were built out in the 1950s and 60s with brick ranches and split-levels; Four Square Mile and Hampden, around the Cherry Creek corridor, mix 1960s–70s homes with larger custom houses on half-acre parcels in enclaves like Mountain View Gardens and Indian Creek.
The area's defining amenity is its trail system. The Cherry Creek Trail runs the length of the district toward Cherry Creek State Park, the High Line Canal threads through Hampden and Hampden Heights, and parks like Bible Park, Cook Park and Garland Park connect them. Interstate 25 and the Denver Tech Center are minutes away, as is the Cherry Creek shopping district to the north.
Shurie lives in this part of the city and has sold more than a dozen homes here, from entry-level ranches to a $1.9M contemporary on South Xenia Court and multiple sales on South Dayton and South Dallas Streets.
